1 Month Update

Tomorrow will be one month since my project has began! Times been flying by, but it's been such an amazing experience. During the past week we've reviewed everything we've done in digital mapping up until this point and finalizing our plan moving forward.

At the beginning of the week the coordinator of Community Monitors Bobby Marie and I gave a presentation to the Bench-Marks Foundation, the oversight org. We went over all that the group has accomplished and the long term goals of the project. It was a relief to find out that they loved it and plan to fund a long term Community Monitors project. We've created a small team that will be focused primarily on mapping their provinces and training others.

To finish the month we had a production meeting for the news articles that Community Monitors produce. All the facilitators from the different regions meet up and help put together the paper. I will add a link to the finished production in my next post.

As promised, here's the link to what our teams has done so far with the map.
